I am going to be showing you my work, called the race. This book is from my reading group and we had to make a slide about the Zodiac Animals
I am a year 5 learner at Tautoro School in Northland, New Zealand. I am in room 6 and my teacher is Whaea Debb.

The Loaves
We were learning about metaphors.
A metaphor compares two different things.
In this poem the author used metaphor to compare bread to clouds.
I found it easy to highlight the metaphors in the poem and find them.
I found it hard to make my designs perfect when I was drawing.
I really enjoyed colouring my bubbles and my mushrooms.
Next time I need to keep up with my learning by focusing on my work and my colouring in.
