Reading: White tailed spider report.

WALT write an information report.

White tailed spider
A white tailed spider is a spider that came to New Zealand from
Australia over hundred years ago.
The white tailed spider has a long dark grey body with a white patch at the end.
It has orange brown bands around its legs.
There are special tufts of hair at the end of the legs so  that the spider can stick
onto smooth or sloping surfaces easily.
It also has two palps at the front of its body that it uses for grooming and tasting.
White tailed spiders live under dark things.
They like to live under bark and under plants.
White tailed spiders can catch some other spiders and catch them in their web and eat them.
They can crawl into clothing and shoes.
Then they will bite the people that put their clothes or shoes on.
Be careful about leaving your clothes or your shoes on the floor.
